Fun photo of Ruxton (my West Highland Terrier) listening intently to our very own Marty Bufalini doing traffic on WWJ, 950 kHz via my RE-45

Awesome!! I am sure Ruxton tilted his head wondering what that noise was.

I'll bet there's a tennis ball or something up top out of view...

There’s really not! He sits and listens to most things. Occasionally he barks at opera, though...gramophone-georg wrote:I'll bet there's a tennis ball or something up top out of view...

By far, Marty's biggest audience, the canine crowd. (i.e., gone to the dogs )

Our old dog Freckles used to howl with- not at- Caruso sometimes. She was a real Artie Shaw fan, though... like my wife. When she heard THAT clarinet she perked her ears up and sometimes walked right up to the machine and sat there. Not for Benny or any of the others.HisMastersVoice wrote:There’s really not! Our current pup Billy is a pit bull/ Boston terrier mix, so he's a little guy with a big personality. He's not very musical, though. Once I got a ceramic Nipper that had a leg snapped off in shipping and he was really very concerned about that. He wouldn't leave it alone and kept licking the broken stub.
He is urgently whining to Annette about it as she is holding Nipper in the attached pic.

Here is my little man Oreo sizing up the competition. He's pretty close to a Nipper look a like.
