Post by dutchman »

Does this horn (perfect), tone arm/reproducer, and back bracket go to a Standard Model A ? There was also an Edison Standard (I think), w/horn that needed some work. I got out of the bidding as I have enough Edison's Was anyone from the forum at this auction (Petes)? I recall someone on the forum mentioning they attend. :D

It would have been on a Standard model A or Harmony rear mount and perhaps a few others that I cannot recall. If that blue horn is perfect with nice original paint then you may have an interested buyer (me!) if you decide to sell or trade it someday. The original paint on the blue horn on my Harmony rear mount is a little rough.

Yes, Doug is correct. This horn and bracket assembly was used for the Standard Model A or Harmony. The Standard Model A used either the red or blue horn. The Harmony was strictly blue, and the Aretino, green.
