Electric Edison Triumph???

Post by JerryVan »

This just sold on eBay. Can't believe it hasn't been discussed here... or maybe I missed it?? Anyway, posting it here instead of the eBay section because the auction is over and the machine is what I'm most curious about. Would have expected the nameplate to say "Alva", but with the repeat attachment, I'm guessing it may have been in a Rosenfeld coin-op unit or similar? It sold for $2938.88. I bid on it with 17 hours left and only one bid at $500. I bid enough to outbid anyone who didn't know it was something special, but not enough, (obviously), to outbid an informed buyer. Anybody here get it? Anyone know exactly what it's from?

Looks like it's from an Edison Eclipse;

Wow - I missed that Eclipse mechanism. Nine years ago I could have used that! :lol:

Nice score for someone...

I believe there is an empty Eclipse case coming up at the Donley auction on March 17th.
I double checked and the cabinet at the auction is a Rosenfeld not Eclipse.
