Reproduction Orthophonics

Has anyone bought any of the reproduction Orthophonic reproducers available from Shenandoah Restorations? With the prices that some of the ones that show up on eBay, the brass casted repros seem appealing if they perform well. Thanks!

Tony, you might pm or e-mail this board member: VictrolaGuy-Walt. He should know how these things perform as he rebuilds Orthophonics for repair and resale and I hear he does excellent work.

I can only second the recommendation of Walt - he's re-built two orthos for me, and while he thought the last one was not quite what he wanted, I thought it was stunning. I'd believe anything he says.
