When I first started collecting 27 years ago the very first gramophone I bought was an upright Aeolian Volcalion. The model so basic that it didn't even have the "gradulola" which those I've seen since always seem to have. That machine is long gone but I still have the shelving out of it as it was made out of the packing crate the vocalion came in. I can show a picture if interested, its just a bit buried behind stuff in the top of our walk in robe.
I bought this one 18 years ago. Its big, very crazed but completely original. The inside polish is very clean and shiny so these would have looked pretty impressive when new.
The cabinets are certainly well made.
Congrats.

Stephen
