Just brought home a c.1913 Victrola VV-XVI cabinet (serial number 72289 E). This was the first version after the L-door, also the first version 'E' I have seen. I'm struck by the elaborate engravings that were greatly reduced on subsequent versions of the VV-XVI.
It came with no motor, motor board, or tone arm. The roller wheels are made of wood and in pretty bad shape, I think I can fix that, but I need a motor for this, a 3 spring with double cut spindle. Anybody have a spare?
Thanks!
Cliff
