Columbia Graphophone Type B Floating Reproducer

Post by sdrefs »

Hi,

I have a columbia type b graphophone in need of a new floating reproducer. Just wondering if anyone knows of a place they can be purchased? I found a reproduction on ebay but the underside looks slightly different then what I have. I've included a few pics so you can see (reproducer and part that broke off). Any help is appreciated, thanks!!

Shawn

If you're on a budget you can use this style and eliminate your broken stylus bar. This style was used on Columbia Q's and many others. Most phonograph suppliers will have these available. Use a new diaphragm and gaskets and it will sound fine. The stud has a small nut on the back side to secure it.
Good Luck. Joe
