modern gramophone / phonograph toys

Post by phonophan79 »

All these toys are coming from Asia, so I can't speak for their quality. ...but does that mean they have a greater interest in the phono world than we do? I mean, these aren't toys geared for an English speaking market. I think it's great these toys are being made but it's sad because I don't think American kids would have the interest or attention span to play with these toys.

Easy answer - yes, the Asian market is HUGE for anything phono, radio, hi-fi and reproduced sound related.

They have the most committed buyers / collectors anywhere in the world. Their enthusiasm always inspires me.
As to quality, i have the Premium Gramophone Kit and it works well and was fun putting together.

It records too and is easy to use.
