That's stunning. Beautiful Oak, I would like to see how it turns out. Why in the world would someone have painted that beautiful oak finish? Consider yourself fortunate to have found a nice VV-XI and in oak. These are not very common and do not show up often.

Thank you all for the encouraging words! I’m going to call Ron Sitko this week but in the meantime I’ll be working on getting the paint out the crevices. I’m excited to have found this machine and I’m glad I get to be the one to bring it back!

Man do I like the grain on this machine. If I was the owner of this beauty I would just remove the old paint (which you done an excellent job of) and leave it the way it is underneath. That finish is absolutely amazing.
