The lid looks Columbia, but the machine looks like a marriage of cabinet parts. A picture with the lid up would be helpful. Maybe someone else can identify it. Good luck:

I hadn’t realized that you were in New Hampshire. I am in Claremont. I saw the other pictures and I don’t know what it is. If you are new to the hobby, (or not), you are in the right place. Lots of good and helpful here.

If you are at the beginning of your collection, I would recommend a Victrola VV-XI. They are very good players, have lots of room for records, don’t take up much room and have a classic look.

The grill is a little different color but the rest looks like it came through time together at least to me. Sorry, but can't help with the manufacture. I'd look for markings on the reproducer and motor if there is no marking on the cabinet. Jerry Blais

Just a shot in the dark, but the base moulding reminds me of the first machine I ever bought. Some of the other construction and finish as well. I posted some photos on the Forum back then, and here is the link: http://forum.talkingmachine.info/viewto ... =9&t=19615

Yes, The lid looks like it's from a Columbia table top. However, I think it is a copy. This machine does not look like a marriage of parts, but all original. I don't see any extra holes, and the finish on the lid and cabinet match. I think it is an off brand machine, either unmarked or missing the ID tag. The pot metal arm appears to be in decent condition. If it plays decently, and it is cheap, below $100.00, I would get it. I think it is a very attractive machine.
