Is this a Phonograph Part ?
I aquired this with a bunch of Phonograph stuff and was going to use it in a Vacuum Tube preamp project but want to make sure it does not go on a rare phono first

It's the side glass from a Royal Typewriter. I think the model 10, but I might be wrong on that. I have one that I do all my typing on. They are pretty nice typewriters I think. And I think they were made in the early to mid 1930's.

Re: Is this a Phonograph Part ?
I once bought a portable gramophone at auction, and as I was leaving with it the porter said "what about the typewriter?" I replied "What typewriter?" I had failed to notice that next to the gramophone was a pre-war Royal typewriter bearing the same lot number, so I had bought that too.
I managed to find a local typewriter collector who was happy to take it for what it cost me, and ever since then the incident has been known as my "Gramophone and Typewriter" moment.
