Here's an unknown machine. Possibly made by Link, ca. 1928, or maybe a one off custom.

I had to dig deep into the recesses of the shop to pull this one out. Gabel made the Junior Standard about 1933-34. It features 12 selections, and was a lower cost version based on the Entertainer's 24 play mechanism.

V-M, Look carefully at the top center of the cabinet, just to the left of the speaker. You can see several tubes sticking out of the top of the amplifier chassis. BTW, the grille cloth is quite tattered in the pic.

Ah yes ...there they are! ,Interesting how the cabinets evolved to be similar then away from the Radio style ,before exploding into the styles used in the 40s and 50s

The 1931 Model 5 Capehart is unusual in that it used the home style 10-12 drop changer, yet it has a coin slide on the right side. Once all the records played, someone had to open the top lid and restack, or install a new group of records.

Certainly! I would be glad to do that for you.

The amp is a model 6034JF, has a 27, 26 and two 45's. The speaker had a burnt out field coil when I got it, but I found an exact copy on Ebay, except the mount was different. I just traded in the field coil. In the meantime another one showed up at our local radio show. It is available.

Here a few pics.
