Model 37A ,9 tubes was $695 when new pre dates the 40A by a few months

Russie I will take pictures of the insides after eating my wheaties The weight of the set is deceiving about 170 pounds less than a Sparton 99 or 101,....it was also the first set with the automatic tuner

The phono section is working great ,need to work on the radio a bit still
