Zenith’s first Phono/radio 1928

Model 37A ,9 tubes was $695 when new pre dates the 40A by a few months

Russie I will take pictures of the insides after eating my wheaties :D The weight of the set is deceiving about 170 pounds less than a Sparton 99 or 101,....it was also the first set with the automatic tuner

This set should be a better performer than the 40A because it has the '50 in the output and the 40A has the '10

there is this model in the living room of the wealthy lady that adopts Weezer.

I had forgotten that!!...(small Talk..Only had it since January ...it has a. very similar Peerless speaker as my Edison C2
The phono section is working great ,need to work on the radio a bit still
