Help Identifying Silvertone Cabinet

I know someone out there is a Silvertone Guru I have seen many machines identified. An APS member rescued this beauty from the trash and has allowed me to adopt it. I will begin the painstaking process of bringing it back to life but could use any knowledge or assistance I could get to move in the right direction. I'm fond of old Silvertones and look forward to this challenge after recently completing the c1927ish Imperial.

Your cabinet appears to be a Silvertone B-XVI ("Louis Fifteenth Design") from post-1918. Here's a page from the Sears 1918 catalog:

At some point (probably mid-1920s) Sears issued Bulletin No.6 (undated). Your cabinet is offered for $69.00:

Thank you it actually helps quite a bit. Although neither AD offers it in oak, the second AD you posted matches the cabinet exactly and advertises a double spring motor so it's certainly a starting place for the hunt.

I know I'm late to the ballgame on this one, but that's a Model N, which was sold in 1920 and 1921 and could be had in mahogany, walnut, or oak. It wasn't their most expensive offering, but for the first couple of seasons it was out, it was #2.

It seems that Silvertone machines have risen in popularity over the last few years- the fancier models like this certainly have eye appeal. I've noticed a few interesting points in my walnut cabinet- the back and sides all have small flaws in the grain- the back has a small tight knot- but Nothing is visible from the front, and the best grain is used inside the lid for maximum effect. The lid is thicker and heavier for its size than a Victor lid, so the weight in your hand suggests substance and value. You got good value for your buck.

Thats a beauty ! I always have liked the Silvertone's an underrated machine for sure. The special attention they gave to their high line models really shows.
