Edison B19 - Colour of tonearm

Post by Torjazzer »

I have seen different examples of this machine and the colour of the tonearm changes. Did Edison produce two different tonearm/reproducers for this machine: one chrome, the other gold tone?

All I've seen were originally nickel plated.

The reproducers are a standard fit, and can used on all Diamond Disc models, despite their respective finishes. It's common to find machines with reproducers from a different model.

I hope this helps,

Yes, I thought that these might have been swapped out for another reproducer but thanks for confirming it.
