I have an 8-4 and it sounds great. Personally, I think it sounds better than my Credenza.
This model does have a pot metal tone arm support bracket so more than likely it will need a reproduction replacement which usually can be purchased for around $75.

I think the reproducer is correct. It has some kind of a brush attachment wired to the back of it. Makes it look odd.
