Polish brass phonograph horns or leave them alone?
I was wondering if people here polish their antique brass phonograph horns, or if they leave them alone. Personally I like to leave antique finishes alone as much as possible, and I like the look of a tarnished horn that has taken decades to get that way. The shiny ones sure look good, though.

You are going to likely get a 50/50 mix of the two options. Do what you like. Personally, I like them polished and free of tarnish (oxidation).

If you polish the horn you are bringing the horn to factory specs. Polish it and make it shiny. Tom
