So, I was thinking about purchasing this Columbia Phonograph, but noticed that the reproducer looked to be incorrect for the model. Perhaps I am wrong, but if I am correct, would you folks be kind enough to help me figure out what the proper reproducer would be.

The reproducer is correct for this machine. The price is pretty steep, though.

Ah, Thank you. It looked a little newer than the machine, I will study up on Columbia reproducers. I will haggle them down for the price, I have bought other things from the place and wasn't planning to pay that much. Would you happen to know where I could get some info on repairing the reproducer? The needle was such a pain to get in I am almost certain there was something wrong with it.

Look in the Links Section of the forum. Several good repair people are listed. My favorite is Ron Sitko.

Since you are new to this hobby, I stroppily suggest you buy the Complete Talking Machine by Eric Reiss. It is the phonograph restoration bible. It covers every aspect of phonograph repair and restoration. It identifies machines and approximate prices. A must have. You can get it on ebay or one of the dealers.
