Thought I would share whats been keeping me busy the past couple of days, I made this from an old camera tripod and a length of aluminium rod, as well as a little arrangement to allow me to thread the crane section onto the tripod and theoretically change them should I wish, works well and looks good I think

That looks nice. I have one suggestion you can use. If you scour the internet there are old fashioned music stands that can take the rod too. I brought some horn loops on E bay with out the bases and used a couple of the bases which make them look OK. Later on I can use them while I play the accordion. Win Win. My family has requested me to minimalize my playing and I have yet to figure out why. The dogs like it. At my age that is all that counts. Tom
