The Talking Machine Forum — For All Antique Phonographs & Recordings

I have the exact same model Grafonola as shown in this ebay ad, with the same walnut cabinet, trim, record storage system, crank, etc., but it doesn't appear in Baumbach's vol. 2 book, nor in any of the other phonograph books that I have, nor anywhere I've looked on the internet. The only difference I see is my motor plate serial number starts with 'D' instead of 'C'. Does anyone know what model number this is? Also, is there any difference between the type C and D motors? Thanks!
