You have an opportunity to get some great Edisons. Both of them are at a great price. But, the C-19 is a better option overall. Get in the car and go get one.

C19. No contest. Larger horn, record storage and gorgeous oak.

The C-19 Chippendale. In this instance bigger is better- and it is also in Oak

C-19, by a landslide.
Not only is it a better performer (double spring motor, #250 horn), but it also has record storage. Case closed.

I think the A-100 is prettier. Has a Craftsman/Mission vibe about it that's kind of a contrast to the stodginess of most upright machines.
And I suggest getting both if you have space!

If you get the A-100, that horrible grille cloth has got to go! Having owned and played both of these Edisons, the C-19 will give you good, loud, sound, while the A-100 with its small horn will give much softer sound.

My recommended solution to your dilema would be to buy them both. The prices are reasonable and even if the prices were a bit higher, don't be afraid to pay a little more for better quality.
