......and here is a little story to which many of us can relate :

I just wanted to mention my all time favorite phonograph funny that I clipped years ago. It is a cartoon with an "ancient" looking older woman standing at the counter at "Radio Shack" with the clerk behind the desk yelling out to another clerk.."DO WE CARRY VICTROLA NEEDLES??!!!!

Life imitates art: Back when I was a smart-aleck (euphamism) beginning-collector-college-kid, I used to have lots of fun going into those hoity-toity high-end audio salons and asking for steel needles.

But the joke's on them! My machines and I are still alive, and most of them are long gone!
