I hate to be branded as a Luddite but as soon as I can get my nephew to take a picture of it and learn how to post it here it will be my pleasure. Properly restored (as I am sure all of us know) these radiola 64 combinations will shake the floor.
The 1928-29 season Victor combinations have a little more power to them than do the electrola only models as they have a higher plate voltage on the '50.
Not to bore others with this stuff but our Sparton 101s (with a '27 driving a pair of push pull '26s in turn driving a pair of push pull '50s is the stuff talking picture amplifiers are made of!

there was one on CL in So Ca a couple years ago that I wanted but the seller would not take payment electronically ,and wanted it gone right away .....hopefully a collector got it ;)

Sparton ensemble ...has the same chassis as the visionola....SC model 54 with changer ( chassis out atthe time of pictures)

Here is my unrestored 101 on the day i picked it up apart .......Russie has a 99 I believe ,I have never seen a 103 face to face

that set will blow you away when it is finished

this is a picture from 2015 it is now playing but not currently ondisplay because of its size ! .....my 99 also plays too for about a week they were in the same room!

were your audio transformers good in your 99 ? I had to have my interstage rewound overseas..seems no one in the US wants to do audio transformers anymore.I wanted mine to be correct that is why I did not just buy something from Hammond..to me close enough is not good enough.

I had one bad one but had an extra amp from a Sparton 111 or 110 radio only they were all good!....did the rewinder use the original bobbin,frame and laminations?

Yes,used everything from the original..I tend to be a nutcase about stuff like that!
