Trumpetone
Anyone have info on this machine I purchased a few years back? Plays nice, has double spring motor, unfortunately with the little horn and condition of the reproducer gasket the sound quality leaves a lot to be desired....

Re: Trumpetone
Hey thanks. We now know there are at least 2 of these machines... I was going to try to rebuild the reproducer but I think I'll let well enough alone. Thanks again and have a good one. Bill K.

Re: Trumpetone
According to an article in "The Victrola and 78 Journal" -- the Trumpetone was marketed in 1923 -- https://archive.org/stream/V78J12/V78J% ... trumpetone
I searched the 1923 issues and came up with this ad:

Hope this helps.
