Drip Pan Gem w/ Carriage-Integrated Reproducer
Has anyone on the forum ever seen or owned a Drip-pan Gem with the carriage-integrated reproducer? I'm curious as to how it sounds, and also how well it plays in general.

Here's a link to Steve Andersun's Drip Pan that was a Featured Phono awhile back-- This machine had belonged to a friend of mine. I cleaned it up for him and sold it to Steve for him at the Charlotte Show a few years back-- Definitely the nicest one I have ever worked on.

It sounds horrible unless the reproducer has been rebuilt, in which case it just sounds really bad.

Dr. Medved put the proper glass diaphragm into mine, and worked ever so hard to make it sound ok, but it's just plain awful. In a nice authentic way.
