Paper mache Berliner trademark horn
Does anyone know any information about a paper mache horn made for Berliner trademark machines? Was this a factory produced option at one time or is it an after market piece?

Re: Paper mache Berliner trademark horn
In a manner of speaking, all U.S. Berliner horns are "aftermarket pieces," since their manufacture was farmed out to sheet metal companies. That said, I'm not aware of these paper mache horns being offered by Berliner (although an owner might well have eventually encountered one in a dealership and fitted it to his Berliner).
Zonophone offered these horns in at least one catalog, dated June 10,1901. On page 24 of this catalog are listed 4 different horns for the Zonophone, among them the paper mache model, called the "Linene" horn.
Here's a Type C Zonophone equipped with one of these horns.

Hey Mike,
That looks like a Vitaphone reproducer on that Berliner. Post a closer photo of if you would. Thanks

This is not my machine yet, but one that I am considering purchasing. I am told by the seller that it has a very rare Henry Jones reproducer which was a predecessor of Johnson’s New Century. Does anyone know anything about the history of the Henry Jones reproducer?

I did not know about Henry Jones until today. Any possibility of getting close ups of that reproducer?

The reproducer in question presents a patent date stamped into the body (July 11, 1899) which relates to the following patent shown below.
