I just want to know who some good shippers are. I think the standard ones might not be good for a herzog.

Kris,

As you know, I’ve shipped you stuff via R&L Carriers. They are my domestic “heavyweight” shipper of choice. But you still need to do a nice packing job and secure the carton to a shipping pallet. R&L is very cost-effective, courteous and cooperative. In the past 15 years of using them, there was only one damage incident (documented here on the Forum).

R&L is making a delivery for me today in the state of Washington. They always call the recipient a day or two before delivery to arrange a time.

I did try using UPS and FedEx Ground for cabinets at one time, but the “oversize” charges and rough handling caused me to abandon that method.
