I purchased a Columbia BQ around May and i haven't been getting to much use out of out it, i was considering selling it and using the money for a monarch junior.
It has been fully rebuilt, excellent pin striping and reproducer has a new aluminium diaphragm and gaskets, good sapphire. The only thing that could affect the price is the non original horn.
Interested to hear what you think its worth!

BQT I think. Does it have a lid?
What it's worth in the USA may be considerably different than in the UK/Europe.

Is the crank correct? It looks huge!
I have a BK Graphophone (similar style case) that has a flat crank. The crank on yours almost looks like an HMV Gramophone crank to my untrained eye...

The correct crank is currently Downstairs , I wanted to listen to a few cylinders earlier so just used a crank from a near by tabletop gramophone to save time.

No "T" on the BQ or BO as they were only available as rear mount tone arm models.

The question is: "What do YOU think it's worth if you are going to sell it?"
As mentioned, the value in the UK vs the US can be totally different and you have to consider shipping if sold to someone outside the UK. The horn has a European style and paint job, which may not appeal to someone in the US... So, throw out a price based on your knowledge of the market you live in and I'm sure someone will let you know if it is a reasonable number...

McKeown's Law of collecting ( from his camera book )
1) The price of an antique collectable is entirely dependant upon the moods of the buyer and seller at the time of the transaction .
2) If you pass up the chance to buy an item you really want , you will never have that chance again .
3) If you buy an item because you know that you will never have that chance again , a better example of the same item will be offered to you a week later for a much lower price!
