It has been fully rebuilt, excellent pin striping and reproducer has a new aluminium diaphragm and gaskets, good sapphire. The only thing that could affect the price is the non original horn.

Interested to hear what you think its worth!
I'd give you £100 for it someone else may give you £200
or you could have 1,000 78s , or an HMV 150 and an HMV cabinet to swap if you brought it to Bedford www.gramophoneworkshop.blogspot.com

The BQ had a lid. It uses the same case and lid as a BK/BKT. Since it is hard to come up with a firm price, the best thing to do is list it on ebay, or a local auction house in your area.

1) The price of an antique collectable is entirely dependant upon the moods of the buyer and seller at the time of the transaction .

2) If you pass up the chance to buy an item you really want , you will never have that chance again .

3) If you buy an item because you know that you will never have that chance again , a better example of the same item will be offered to you a week later for a much lower price!
Every time someone asks about the value of their machine, I hope your common sense quote here gets brought back. It's perfect and so true.
