Roaring20s (James), Thanks for pointing out the upside down grill. When I removed the grill I found evidence of a first grill cloth so what is shown in most of the photos must be a second grill cloth. I didn't like it so it was replaced. Now the grill is in the correct position and I don't have to worry about James loosing sleep from his OCD.

The real prize here is the machine. It's so bizarre (in the best way) that I think it's a jewel in any collection.
I didn't think it would matter one way or the other, but the grille does indeed look better this way.

I wonder if that grill was inspired by the old Zonophone record label. It gives the machine a great musical theme.
