Due to limitations on posted pictures I had to post this in two articles. This is what I feel are the eight major changes in the Standard A. I can not get the write to post correctly..Thanks Tom

Tom, Thanks for the history lesson complete with good photos. The Edison Standard was a great machine when introduced and continues to be a good one for today's collectors. It has a simple trouble free design, good materials and quality of construction, plus it's compact and those are qualities that are tough to beat.

Thank Jerry. I have always like the early Edison's. hey seem to have a different personality along with the suitcase homes. . Tom
