This past weekend was the Chicago Coin Op Show at it’s new location the Grayslake Fairgrounds:

This show mostly features coin operated devices such as jukeboxes, pinball machines, old toys, etc.. There are phonographs but you won’t find any bargains as this is a “upmarket” show catering to the collector decorator with a need for filling up the downstairs family room bar with eye candy. So a lot of repro vintage signs and some steampunk creations. Like these iPod speakers.
Hey I don’t condone or condemn this, I’m just reporting what I saw!
As for myself I came home with some Audio Technica 78 needles and magnetic cartridges. And spending time with friends in Fox River Grove.
