Just brought home a small group of cylinders from a local antique mall, among them was a Columbia with the dealer sticker for:
Listen to the / Mocking Bird (hand written) / from / The Largest and Most Complete Jewelry Establishment / IN THE CITY / Everything in Talking Machines / SANTA FE WATCH CO. / 106 W 8th Street / Topeka Kansas
Pretty cool, I think. And the cylinder inside was the correct one, COLUMBIA 32531, though the lid did not match.
Also a Columbia 2 minute version of UNDER THE ANHEUSER BUSH by Collins and Harlan.

Also in this small group of cylinders was a brown wax that appeared to have a home recording on it made over an unshaved surface. Mostly noise, only the slightest hint of a recording. I am going to shave it and see what it looks like.
