The New not so Victrola

I am sure that we have all seen the latest not really Crosley stunt, manufacturing millions of these Victrola branded phonographs with a radio. Everywhere I go, I see these hunks of junk. From Walmart, Target, Kohl’s and others.

I was at Walmart and two guys in their early 20’s were looking at and intrigued by a model with a big gold dial.The two guys backed away and left when another young guy told them, your taking your grandpa style. While they did not miss the real Victrola experience, I was thinking they may have been deterred from eventually getting into the hobby.
