Just put together a Victor VTLA phonograph and the accompanying crank was the wrong size, way too short. It is gold plated, has a ¼" female end, and measures about 4 ¼" tall x 4 ¼" wide. What does this belong to? It worked fine on the motor on the bench...
I did find the correct crank for the VTLA.
Thanks! Cliff

Re: Victor Crank ID??
Looks like it was cut, or broken, and welded back together. Shortened?

A closer look at this crank and I think you're right. So it could have started out as anything.JerryVan wrote:Looks like it was cut, or broken, and welded back together. Shortened?

Looks a lot like a shortened later L-door crank or perhaps an XI crank. Just a guess.

Definitely cut and welded together. You can see it's not quite square at the weld. Also, the early VTLA female crank is 7.5" long at the bend.

Re: Victor Crank ID??
It looks like that somebody tried to make a Victor VI crank out of a VV XI, or an L-Door machine. To bad. A good crank ruined
