New to me: A Mikiphone

Post by Phono-Phan »

I found this at a little shop today. I have always wanted one of these and this is the first one I found on the loose. It needs the other half of the horn part. But, it came with a leather carrying case which I have never seen. I will be posting in the Yankee Trader to look for the other half of the horn.

Thanks for the reply but I can't read any of it. Is there an English translation?

It seems the English version is not as complete as the German version. Look at Ersatzteile for repair parts.

Nice find Ken. The leather case is hard to find. I have seen at least four different types of leather case.
Here mine....

Repro parts are apparently available, but I can't find prices or ordering info...

A huge THANK YOU to Bruce Johnson, a.k.a. Valecnik on the Forum, with his help in getting a resonator for my Mikiphone. The seller is in Germany and I was having a hard time with the translation and payment. Bruce was very kind to get one for me and I reimbursed him. It took several weeks to ship but was worth the wait.
I owe him a cold beer( or three ) at the Union show.
