The Victor Advertising Department advertised the Victor M as "Victor the Third." They also advertised other lettered machines as Victor the First, Second, etc.
At what point in Victor M production did the advertising department use this sales approach? About when did it start?
Do you remember the Rigid Arm Victor 1 and, as proof, the author posted a photo from a machine catalog. The machine appeared to be a Rigid Arm Victor R. What model information do you think was on that specific machine's ID tag? Has anyone ever seen a similar machine marked as a 1?
