I'd like to thank Bob K. in Scottsdale and John M. in Jerome for wonderful visits. After seeing Bobs great collection we sat and told phono stories for a couple of hours. It was time well spent. DeeDee and I were both taken with Jerome. The little artsy town is clinging to the side of a mountain and the homes and business are built right down to the streets. It's like visiting a village in Italy. We enjoyed seeing John's studio where he and his wife are making jewelry from local materials like the Prickly Pear Cactus combined with copper and silver.

I didn't know that we'd be bringing Oregon with us. This morning it's 37 degrees and it has rained 2" in the last 24 hours. In Mesa the average temperature is 72 degrees and the yearly rainfall is 9". :(

Definition of phono crazy:

It's 6:35am and there is a big outdoor antique flea market today starting at 7am outside one of the antique shops in Mesa. I like to get to sales early but it's below freezing and my truck is totally frozen. I'm waiting in our trailer where the heater is blazing away while the truck thaws. This is crazy... but I'm going anyway. I can't help myself.
