Once again I will be having fun with my Victor III.
This time I will play classical music at a local art exhibit.
Here is the teaser I made for them to place on their Facebook and web pages.

Looks nice and funny... I'm always planning to promote something gramophonic here around me, too. I believe it's time to leave enjoying gramophone music alone, and try to make others enjoy it. I should organize gramophone concerts or something alike.... A communal event its a very good occasion to start...

Thanks for your comments. I do enjoy this on occasion. Playing records at a gathering of like this is very enjoyable. The machine is an antique work of art and I get to use it! Everyone enjoys seeing it and I get several interesting conversations during the evening. Try it. See if it brings you and others some joy.

I also have fun making the advertisements.

James.

This is a REALLY nice graphic you've done! Every image is perfect, including the little Nippers, canine and human!
Good luck with the exhibit!

Thanks Bob,

This will be the first time I play my classical records in public. I usually take my popular and jazz. I pulled familiar tunes and think it will go over just as well.

James.

This is too cool for words. What a great Idea.

My Victor III is close to being ready to reassemble after a complete restoration. I'm planning to have a Victor(y) party to celebrate its restoration to playing condition. I'm inviting a bunch of friends over to enjoy some food and beverage and listen to old 78s played on the Victor. Most of them know I'm working on it and none have ever heard an early Victor phonograph playing period records.

Its going to be fun!

Very cool, James! I did a phono show locally back in December 2017. The little fellow in your flyer reminded me of this guy:

Very cool to see what you are doing.
It is always interesting when exhibiting before the public these old machines. Most people seem to be startled by the volume and tone of a restored machine. They are expecting to hear a thin, scratchy sound like the ones they've seen on TV or in a movie.
