Dimensions of a VV-111

Post by mick_vt »

Hi all, can anybody tell me the physical dimensions of a Victrola VV-111 cabinet? I might have to transport one and am wondering if it will go under the tonneau of my truck (laid on it's back) - my XVI was about 1" too high... Google was no use on this model :D

According to The Victor Data Book the VV-III measurements are:
Height: 45 ¾"
Width: 22 ½"
Depth 24 ¾"

Good luck with your transport!

Some of the new collectors may not know about the resource books that are available for the hobby. George Paul, a frequent contributor here has some fine and thoroughly researched and illustrated books as does Bob Baumbach, author of Look For the Dog and the Victor Data Book among others. While free information is always good I think it is our duty to reward these authors for their hard work by purchasing their books. There is much information to be learned by studying them.

Bob Barnett was kind enough to look up the information for you in the Victor Data Book. Is it time to purchase a copy of your own?
