What model is this Victrola?

Post by phonogal »

Saw this listing with the early radio but can't find this design in Look for the Dog. Anyone know what model this is and the year it was made?

I don't think it's a Victor, I think it's an off brand that ended up with a victor Tonearm. Not having the patented Victor doors makes me a little suspicious.

I bet you're right. I'm just used to thinking Victrola/Victor.

I'm thinking Brunswick due to the cabinet design and what I can make out of the under lid decals. Don't forget- Brunswick actually incorporated Radiolas too.

I think it might be a Silvertone. It looks really similar to a model listed on eBay.(https://www.ebay.com/itm/Silvertone-Han ... SwTEZb~tEh)

Also appears to have a Silvertone logo on the inside of the lid.
