Hi Martin- Measurements of the tonearm and bracket would help-- Just guessing from the looks of it I'd guess a Victor II.

It's hard to tell without measurements or a cabinet for perspective. I think the parts go to a Victor M, MS, III or IV. Jerry Blais

Here are the measurements

The connecting base of the bracket is 3.5 inches. The part the elbow connects to is ~1.8 inches. The arm is ~9 inches long

Thanks

Hey Martin,

Your measurements match up exactly with the ones on my Victor III.

If I were you, I'd go ahead and find a Victor III case with the motor and then find you a horn. You can get a black & brass horn, morning glories, and/or wood (spear point or smooth?) In addition to that, you could use an aftermarket flower horn with one of the incredible artistic finishes from that time.

There is money in the parts, but pleasure in a Victor III. I happen to enjoy mine very much. It sounds amazing like all halfway-decent Victor machines.

Happy collecting!

(Also, how is the Standard E working out for you? I wondered how you fared with that.)

I was thinking of doing that, but in all honesty I like Edison machine more. I'll wait for the opportunity to find a complete one to restore. However, it did come with a horn (that's in need of s repaint) that i'm not sure if it's original to. If it happens to be original to it, I might consider it, I'll post it later and see if anyone can tell me.

I'll PM you soon about the model E.

Thanks
Martin

I got pictures of the horn, and a picture of how the elbow fits, so if any info on what it is would be appreciated

Thanks

From the bits & details of the horn that I can see in the pictures it looks like a Hawthorne & Sheble aftermarket. I've seen one of those on a Victor IV machine in a collector's music room and they are beautiful.

These parts are all from that Leeds Talk-O-Phone hybrid you found, right?
