Interesting Facts: The VV-360 was produced during an all time low in phonograph sales, intended for the Christmas season of 1924. Although approximately 1,287 were produced, it is likely less than 100 survive. Interestingly enough, the first VV-360 to roll out of Camden, No. 501, was fitted with an induction disc motor. This specific 360 is unmolested, and had been stored untouched in a basement in central Va for more than 40 years. It was the first phonograph I ever owned, and intend for it to be my last.

Beautiful machine! It must produce an impressive sound with that huge horn opening. Lucky you!

Very impressive machine. Who doesn't like an elegant big mahogany Victrola? I always wonder how the original owner felt when the Orthophonic models came out shortly after their purchase. Thanks for posting.

Only one of 100 is impressive. Quite a beautiful cabinet. Congratulations on acquiring a real rare survivor. Thanks for adding it to the Featured Phonograph section of the forum.

Love the early-to-mid 1920s machines. They had the biggest horns of any pre orthophonic cabinet model.

Victor gave some thought to fitting the unsold stock of these cabinets (and other models introduced at the same time) with Orthophonic horns.
