I think that the Bedplate/Motor might be a 2nd Series Bedplate Motor in a 1st Series Wood Case...
We need more pics of the Bedplate and Left side of the machine to be able to tell..

Yeah, I think my last assumption was correct.. It looks like it's a Mix-Match of Series 1 Bedplate, Motor and and some Series 2 Parts in a Series 1 Case. The Reproducer is a Series 2 / Series 3 Reproducer among other things.

I was very surprised when I opened the spring barell. I have never seen anything like this, someone made the shaft much thicker, and also "repaired" the spring.

How about a pic of the Dataplate, and a pic of the top of the Black Governor cover...
That will help as well.
I noticed that the horn is a Late Series 1 Horn, But the Holder/Pivot Point for the horn is homemade!
The Homemade winder assembly looks interesting! Post more pics!
Someone apparently did some "Freestyling" repairs on this thing...

Here's the picture of the data plate and governor cover, and of course theres no external speed control or hole for it, as I've stated earlier on the thread.

Yeah, That's a Series 1 Dataplate.. That Governor Cover is a Series 2 Governor Cover though. A Series 1 Governor cover has the hole for external Speed Adjuster. Your machine correctly came with a Nickeled Reproducer for sure Originally. The Bedplate seems to be a Series 1 Bedplate as it has the early Countersunk Screwholes. Don't know about some of the other Motor parts as I can't see them..
What are your plans for the machine??
Here are some Series 1 Bedplates w/Motors on ebay that could save you some time and money on the restoration... I think that they are both the same item... Seller is well known (Mark)...Croakinfrog..

All the parts are sold by the same seller (Croakinfrog) who is Mark Geiser.

While I appreciate you're enthusiasm, I think our methods of approach are far apart. I'm well aware of all of the issues it has, but I will do my best with what I have. This is just a "for fun" project, an amberola 30, something I can experiment new things on and divert from the typical routine I take in a restoration. I'm going to keep all of these parts together and not worry about the fact that they got jumbled up at some point.

Awesome!
I just picked up an Amberola 30 in very poor shape as well. Probably won't get around to it until July or so.
Look forward to following!
