Interesting phono motor, any ideas?

I picked up this motor a while back, the only marking I can read say "phonograph motor". THe rest is hard to read.

Any ideas?

I think you should figure out what more is written in there... Maybe a location? A name? A patent number or date? There are two additional written lines in the photo

It looks like "united mfg & distributing co. Chicago model 7

It's a really neat motor! Pretty intriguing.

I know its an off brand, but I am wondering what did the machine look like it came out of.

I have one of these motors, three spring, part of a Cecilian Melophonic (another Credenza clone), made for Montgomery Ward. Mine has the words:

UNITED MOTOR
MADE BY
UNITED AIR CLEANER CO
CHICAGO ILL USA
MODEL 7 PATS' PENDING

The plate this is stamped on has a larger "7" stamped over "5", which was another of their motors.

They advertised in Talking Machine World:
