1899 Edison Ajax - Class M Coin Slot Concert Phonograph

Post by Mlund2020 »

My 1899 Edison Ajax just returned from it’s full restoration back to it’s former glory - restoration by Paul Baker. I have owned it for almost 10 years, but now for the first time I can fully enjoy this amazing machine with its ingenious Class M motor and it’s uniquely graceful string repeater. Thanks to Paul for an amazing restoration.

-Enjoy-

Absolutely gorgeous machine. I thoroughly enjoyed the video as well. Paul did a FANTASTIC job on restoring it! His attention to detail in anything he touches is incredible. The string repeater is ingenious and so smooth in action! Thanks for posting this wonderful machine and the great video.

Breathtaking! Do you own a phonograph museum? How did you find so many desirable and rare machines!?
