I would like to thank Joe ( cleveland1996 ) for a tip about an early glass eyed 19" Nipper on Ebay. Without his message I would never have had the opportunity to acquire this Nipper project. To make it even better the Ebay seller lives in our little town of Albany, Oregon so I hope to see Nipper very soon. I'll post photos of Nipper as soon as possible but I wanted to thank Joe immediately!
Thank you Joe!!!

Too bad Nipper wasn't a duck, eh? Maybe you need a second loo downstairs.
But yes... lots of good eggs on the forum, including a certain duck egg with a huge trailer we all know.

Here are photos of my latest Nipper project. I think he's spectacular and thanks again Joe. He is missing parts of each ear and both rear paws and he's flaking bits of paint just by looking at him. But he stands on his own and he has tons of potential.

This nipper is very cool with his glass eyes. When was he created? Does the collar have a metal tag applied to it or is that painted on? Thanks -Bill
PS: I like him just as he is. Sort of a Dr.Phibes appeal for me.

The tag appears to be painted on. I'm about to get out Joan & Rob Rolfs wonderful books about Nipper collectables. I'll find out more about my Nipper. (Everyone should have copies of their books.)Does the collar have a metal tag applied to it or is that painted on?
