Subject: Amberola 75 Mystery Holes...?!?? :0)
I was cleaning out the Bottom of my Amberola 75 last month after I took out the bottom drawer, and I noticed that there were two holes on the bottom of the front floor.. that I never noticed before.. I looked on the Floor in the rear and there are another two identical holes for a total of four holes... I can't even imagine what these four holes were used for.... I'm thinking that these are just some 4 "hokey" holes that someone drilled in the past for some hokey reason....God knows what... Anyone have an idea????!?? I haven't a clue. The machine still has all of its original uncut legs..
Here are some pics of the Front floor... The rear floor (Not Pictured) has the same two identical holes drilled in the floor in the rear as well...
What were they for???!?? .....Someone removing the two bottom drawers and installing a Disc Record Rack??!?? I have no idea...
Am I missing something that I don't know about here???!???
Signed, Stumped..

Mine has those too. My guess is that the holes were for bolts to the bottom of the shipping crate.

Wow, Really.... I'm shocked...! That would be a really good guess....
I thought for sure that the holes were just "Hokey" and just drilled by someone for some obscure reason....!!!!
Anyone else out there with an Amberola 75 that can confirm the same??!???
This would be great news!!

Yeah, I just checked out another Amberola 75 the other day. It also had the holes.
As suggested, earlier above, It looks as if they were specific holes used for shipment inside the shipping crate from what everyone has concluded.
Whatever the case, It's good to know!
