Thanks for sharing this, Don! I agree with one of the youtube posters that it would be great to see one or more articles on this subject in the APS magazine.
As for the lathe with the DD reproducer chuck and the 4 screened holes behind it... Is the tube with the holes laterally adjustable? If so, it would suggest a crude attenuation device (dance band = small hole; violin solo = larger hole...). Interesting stuff.
